Held in Burton in Kendal Memorial Hall at 7.30pm on the 3rd Monday of the month unless otherwise stated.

 Visitors (2023) £2.50, members free.

 Monday 16th January - Prof. Ian Hodkinson – The Life and Times of Francis Strickland & Stuart Pretenders

Monday 20th February - AGM & Simon Williams – The Mystery Chimney at Jenny Brown’s Point
The talk will be preceded by the Society’s Annual General Meeting - which should take only 15 to 20 minutes. Details of the Society Summer coach outing will also be made available.

Monday 20th March – Dr Sarah Rose – the updated Victoria County History Project - Researching Burton and its environs

Monday 17th April – Dan Elsworth – Gleaston Castle: A history and recent developments
